Ben Sharp has released his second full length album, entitled Beacons. For those unaware of this project, Cloudkicker is a solo instrumental project with roots in experimental metal, post-metal and math metal. Had to update my soundcard drivers, but it sounds AWESOME so far! On this release and his other 2010 release Ben has really defined/perfected his own sound. Loving this one so far.

Yes, from my first run through of the album I noticed a tad more variation? At first listen I think I like this album better than The Discovery (which was of course quite good) |
