any genres are included from prog to disco, country to hiphop only requirment is songs were the rhodes are an important feature to the overall sound of the song, and aritsts whom are most prominent in use of rhodes (Magma, Steely Dan, 10cc, Hancock, Chich Corea), or other bands which have used it in an invetive way, that defies Fender Rhodes as an instruments
i list some five songs i like

I'm probably partial to early stuff by Return to Forever (Chick Corea), Headhunters (Herbie Hancock), and Weather Report (Joe Zawinul). Those three probably set the Rhodes standard until they got sidetracked with synths. Al Stewart's Year of the Cat has a lot of nice Rhodes on it. ------------- Can you tell me where we're headin'? I've been on a Rhodes kick of late....the Rhodes makes even Bob James and Deodato sound good! Still, the king of the Rhodes was Herbie, especially on the third and fourth Mwandishi albums. ------------- I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there..... |

Kerry Minnear delivered some great Proggy Rhodes work if I'm not mistaken.
Though, I really prefer the jazz masters on the Rhodes: Corea, Hancock, Ratledge, Duke, Stewart et al..

I would say 'Riders On The Storm' (Doors) and 'Sheep' (Floyd) but many Canterbury acts utilise Rhodes - Soft Machine (after their 'Fourth' album, since Ratledge used a Hohner Pianet until their 'Fifth' album).
