Millplat was a short-lived Japanese neo-prog band from mid 90' which featured HISAKATSU IGARASHI (famous from Novela and Scheherazade) on lead vocal duties. They recorded only one, self-titled album in 1994. Their music is modern neo-prog in the typical for 80' and early 90' Japanese acts (Teru's Symphonia, early Gerard, Novela etc.) line-up: permanent musicians *Igarashi Hisakatsu (五十嵐久勝, いがらしひさかつ)/vocal *Izumi Mutsuhiko (泉陸奥彦, いずみむつひこ)/guitar, bass, symthesizer programming *Hosokawa Hiroshi (細川博史, ほそかわひろし)/drums *Hayashi Oji (林皇志, はやしおうじ)/vocal, keyboard, symthesizer programming *Matsuyama Naoyoshi (松山直容, まつやまなおよし)/synthesizer programming guest musicians *Tuschiya ???? clear case for neo-prog. Especially that it's the same vocalist as in Novela here.
