Hmm.. basically King Crimson's best vs. Yes' best. I prefer KC as a whole, but I really can't choose between these tracks.

Not really indeed. I cote for Close to the Edge here, but I'll launch another poll in which Starless will be matched against another song which has more similarity to it.

Starless. I love CTTE, but Starless has the same impact on me now as when I first heard it. Close to the Edge less so.

I'm listening to "Starless" right now. Beautiful piece of music, but it cannot touch the majesty of "Close to the Edge."

Close to the Edge is brilliant, but I'm going to have to say that Starless wins this one for me. It left a greater impression on me once I got it. As far as the Close to the Edge album goes, I prefer the second side to the first anyways.

I prefer Yes to KC as a band and CTTE to Red as an album but STARLESS is something really incomparable. It's in my top 3 of all time.

Though one! Starless for me. The sax solo. The guitar riff as a mantra. Fripp at his best.
But CTTE is fantastic too.

This is a tough one ...
Close To The Edge is so perfect, total masterpiece.
But I choose Starless because maybe it has more passion and heart than Close ....

I strongly prefer Larks Tongues in Aspic part 1 to Starless (not to CTTE though)
Close to the Edge have changed my life and every action I do, Starless haven't.
Also Lizards is as good as starless imo.
