Hey all.  Newbie here.  I just got my copy of Locanda Delle Fate "Forse Le Lucciole Non Si Amano Piu" this week.  It is the Polydor release with the bonus track "new york".   Upon listening to track one, i noticed the drums are completely mixed to the left channel and its driving my crazy cuz it's really a nice instrumental.  Track two seems to have the drums mixed more in a stereo spread, but i was just wondering if anyone else had noticed this AND if it is like this on other releases?  Thanks.  bump

I'll have to listen to my copy tonight to confirm but I'm pretty sure there isn't any odd separation of the drums on the first track.

My copy is like that also, but this is quite a normal problem in old albums AFAIK. Many many albums that I (my father) have had that problem in the original stereo mix, but it was solved on the re-releases. Maybe they had limited material to work with, maybe the original tapes are like this, etc.

My version the drums are in both speakers but more predominantly in the right. I like it like that.

Interesting. Well I recently ordered the Japan Mini-lp SHM version of it.  So when it arrives, I hope to find this not an issue.  Thanks to those who replied.  cheers!

Hey, for those who care, I just received the japan mini lp shm-cd version of this and I am very happy to report that the drums are in both channels and what a wonderful difference.  Both are the Polydor label and therefore I don't really understand what happened to the original disc, but something was definitely awry.  Thanks for those who left an opinion.  cheers!
