Obscure Japanese psych/noise/whatever-the-hell-it-is band.  Album long out of print, probably impossible to buy, but the entire thing can be http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/album/Delicior+Ribbon+Pink+Beel+Music+Of+Death+/5237966 - streamed on Grooveshark

nearly everyone I know who has heard this band hates it, so it must be the proggest of prog

Cool

Already rejected by RIO / Avant, and also as a Psych Team member they cannot find their ground upon PA methinks.

"Interesting" stuff. I gave up after the first 6 tracks. IMO the music (or, the "music") is a mix of avantgarde vocals, noises and electronic explorations. Definitely not something for avant or psych/space, but they might have a chance for Electronic. I'll notify Philippe, but don't put many hopes into this suggestion (I think).

Seems like my intuition was good, they have green lights for Electronic. Will you write a bio Colin?

I don't know anything about the band LOL

this is about the closest thing to a bio I've read anywhere:

Hey, I actually LIKE that stuff!!  Not that I'd curl up & listen to it with a lit pipe or anything, but it reminds me of the very dark processed music that I made in the late 1970's, along with many other folks.

I once wrote a song entitled "The Dark" that I still cannot listen to easily!  I need to digitize it and upload it somewhere...

A lot of us were experiment with processed sounds back in the 1970's, using all sorts of sheet metal, rubber bits etc. that we would mike and process through phase shifters, delay, chorus etc.

I'll share my favorite.....put a coin inside of a deflated balloon, then blow the balloon up & tie it.   Holding the balloon in both hands, start the coin revolving on the inside....it makes an amazing sound when miked!

Fred Frith is famous for modifying his guitar strings with electric clips etc. to modify the sound.  This stuff never made for relaxing, beautiful music, but it was pretty damn creepy at times!!

The second track reminded me of Mike Patton's Adult  Themes for Voice album.

Hey Colin, they've been approved by Progressive Electronic Team already and ... I've tried to research them ... and ... not completed yet. Ouch

Would you let me take more (and more and more ... ) time? Wink

It's not cool at all. Now there is more evidence of its existence, I wanted everyone to just forget that it ever happened.
