I'd like to start off by saying hello again and thanks for all the kind reviews for the mad monk and the mountain. I think early on I was unsure wether it would sell at all, but as events have turned out, I'm going to have a more comfortable christmas than I expected! Big smile
This has encouraged the band into making a Christmas EP, 4 tracks, all with a winter or festive theme. While three have been on previous albums, one is previously unreleased, though we played it live for many years. The EP is available as a cd or download from our website, and we have also done a video for one of the tracks, ideally this would have been out a week ago but I got the flu.

The EP is called "A Midwinter Spell",
I'm happy to send CD's or arrange a free download (Which might be quicker), sorry its a bit late in the day, but things don't always go completely to plan.

This is the video, and it is all our own footage.

I am all up for it and a download link in a PM suits me fine due to the adverse weather up here.

I can do one straight away, but as I'm not sure how to do it via the site, you will find the link in your e-mail. It should be there now.

I was listening to the album until my Christmas turkey dinner took offense and attacked me due to the lyrical contents. But I will listen to it when the turkey (named Jonas, btw) has been dispatched.

My parents kept chickens, and I remember a Christmas day long ago when my father came in with a big roasting pot with a lid, saying that we were in for a particularly special Christmas dinner that year. I remember thinking it was strange that the pot (Which of course should have been in the oven) had condensation on it. When he lifted the lid, there was Jake our prized cockerel, staring around with a baleful eye. Suffice to say Christmas dinner that year was roast beef.

Cathy says:
Can't quite understand why the lyrical content worried the turkey - after all it was all about eating a pig....

Glad to see that The Morrigan are still alive and well. I remember seeing you play at Whitchurch way back in 1993 or was it 1994?  Thumbs Up

I'll post a cd to you but given the state of the british postal system at present you might not get it till January. If you like, it would be quite easy to give you a link to a free download.

A Cd would be Better,

Postal system in the Netherlands is no better or worse than the british one.

I can wait until 2011. I am listening the Mad Monk and The Mountain right now, you just send it a week or 2 ago.
Sounds great really

Hey Coin, my copy arrived a few days ago, would you like me to review it now or should I wait for the holidays to roll around again?
