i borrowed an old tape of Anglagard's Hybris from friend who is a prog addicted collector recently and it absolutely blew me away a great album.

but i've been looking around and it sounds like neither of their albums are on sale anymore and i looked around and couldn't find either for sale on amazon or anywhere else. Are the albums still being sold or will i have to look on ebay?

I don't think they are currently available, but yes what a great album Hybris is.  I stand to be corrected of course but it looks like it might be an ebay job!

Hybris and the live album Buried Alive are listed in the catalogue section for this specialist supplier. (No Epilog though)

You can get these on Amazon as well. I've just ordered Buried Alive as the price was very reasonable. The other two (Hybris and Epilog) are a bit expensive (presumably because they are imports) but nevertheless they are available.

yes i noticed the imported hybris on amazon and at 23 pounds i thought something was wrong i might consider it but would probably be able to get it cheaper on ebay

I really loved Hybris. I was able to get it from Amazon at a reasonable price, but it was a used copy, however, it had been tagged as "like new", and when I received it indeed it was like new. If you get a chance to get this album at a reasonable price, go for it before it's too late.

I ordered Hybris in Australia at a very small CD shop in  my local area 2 years ago, and they were going to get it in for me. They rang me and told me it was going to be $45 - normal CDs are only $30. I was tempted but ended up etting it online much cheaper. Ebay have them often and amazon occasionally.

Brilliant album and you can hear some of it on youtube!

Epilogue is excellent also! Just a shame that this band is not active anymore as a band

Have to post these - It's such great music hopefully someone will hear this and want to buy it as well. Masterpiece doesn't come close to describing this album.

The band rereleased Epilog earlier this year, including a bonus track called Rosten (on the original album Rosten was ten seconds of microphone feedback but apparently now it's a three and a half minute song). They've also put out a rerelease of Hybris, though I'm not sure if that has any goodies on it past Ganglat Fran Knapptible which has been floating around for a while. Both can be found here: http://www.alvarsdotter.com/

The band was also looking at the possibility of a third album a few months back but nothing concrete has come of it as of yet. EDIT: Rosten, while apparently written in the early 90s, was just recorded last year, so the band has been up and about a bit. Who knows if anything will happen, though.
