Yes, that's right...I'm back with another poll which will get next to no votes! This time, the competition will be tougher than ever. The options are two of Yoshida Tatsuya's groups, Ruins and Korekyojinn. Ruins is well known for their hyper, take-no-prisoners drums and bass aural assault, along with their crazy, over the top vocals. Korekyojinn is a bit of a different animal - all instrumental music performed by a power trio to put most of the rest to shame. Both groups are masterminded by a pre-1989 musician (that's right, Yoshida had been playing in groups since before 1989!) and at least most of the musicians involved in each have been playing since the late 80s. from the samples provided, I prefer Ruins, although I really like that live Korekyojinn song (especially the bass playing) I don't really feel I can vote off 4 songs, though |

Ruins.
Korekyojinn is probably my least favorite Yoshi band...though I don't know all too many. Solid, enjoyable stuff for sure, but nothing compared to the might force of Ruins IMHO. ------------- Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |
