BLACKFIELD is a side project of Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree, Bass Communion, No-Man) and israeli singer/songwriter Aviv Geffen.

Seems like this one is definitely a crossover prog album.

Already ordered the CD, haven't heard the samples. I'm holding out to hear the whole album.

Edit: finally just caved and gave it a listen, sounds awesome. A lot more like the first Blackfield judging from the samples.

Ah, by the way, if you subscribe to Kscope's mailing list, you'll get a free download of a VBR ~128kbps mp3 of the first song on the album.

I look up, I'm almost blinded

by the warmth of what's inside me

and the taste that's in my soul,

Are you perhaps unfamiliar with the developments in computer animation since Money for Nothing? A random person on the internet  with a pirated copy of Flash could do a better job than that.
