Either the Death logo or the Gentle Giant giant somewhere on my forearm.

Edit: Or perhaps I could get them to create the horrible catfish man.

Magma logo is the first thing that came to my mind.
Even though a thing a really cool one would be one that represent Prog in general and not just one band. But i can't find exemple right now. Might come back to it.

That's what I was thinking. What if you had to imagine your own drawing to represent Prog ?

By the way, in the same vein as the Magma tattoo, I would put the Yes logo in the middle of my chest or between my shoulder blades, that would be awesome Big smile

I'd go for the Yes logo on the wrist.  Or maybe the pitcher from Part the Second.

It's very old, faded and in a spot difficult to photograph myself but;

For the younger folks, think very seriously before getting tattoos. In fact I would advise people not to get them at all. It is very possible that one day you will regret what you have permanently put on your skin. I regret getting most of mine.

I've been considering getting Cynics Focus fire demon on my left shoulder and Traced in Air angel on my right. However, they are very detailed images and I dont exactly have big arms, or much money.

On my left forearm I've got a crossed Strat (light blue) and Les Paul (sunburst) against a Marshall stack (black) with - in scrolls - Gilmour and Blackmore by the Strat and Page and Bradfield (MSP) by the Gibson. Plus the opening bars to London Calling in musical notation up the arm in a link to some more personal ones.

On the upper arm I've got a sword with a triple scroll with my own very British musical heritage: Faces, Rich Kids, Manics. Left shoulder blade has the London Calling cover (Penny Smith pic) in full.

Not exactly prog, but around 15 years on they're as bright as day and I don't regret them at all. I designed them so I'll live with them.

To echo what a previous poster said: Make absolutely sure before you have any passing phase tattoo done - I can remember my children's names without having them inked on my skin.

btw with a long sleeve shirt, I have no visible tats at allBig smile

It's not that I can't find worth in anything, it's just that I can't find worth in enough.

I want the lion from the cover of the original Santana album on my left chest, but I just realized you can't have white and grey colour.

I have the Dream Theater 'Majesty' logo and the 'Sacred Heart' logo, and I have Metallica's ninja star. All my others at this point are comic characters and other useless stuff that I'll regret when I'm 40.

Will definitely get more music ones though. Want to get Symphony X's two theatre masks, and something related to Savatage.
