The eclectic/avant-rock group Make A Rising has released a new EP called New I Fealing that is available for free download, though you can donate to the band whatever you want if you wish so.
Go http://makearising.com/" rel="nofollow - here to listen to it and http://www.divshare.com/download/14291524-15b" rel="nofollow - here to download it.

Here are notes and thoughts on this release by the band:

NOTES

Rhythm tracks engineered by Jeff Zeigler at  http://www.myspace.com/uniformrecording" rel="nofollow - Uniform . Everything else recorded at the Avant Gentlemen’s Lodge (RIP).

Mixed and Mastered by Colin Marston at  http://thethousandcaves.com/" rel="nofollow - Menegroth the Thousand Caves .

Produced by Make A Rising.

On this recording, Make A Rising was: Jesse Moynihan, Justin Moynihan, John Heron, Nick Millevoi, Travis Woodson.

GUEST MUSICIANS: Dave Fishkin (sax, flute), Jesse Sparhawk (harp), Beth Brandon (wurlitzer), Alex Tyson (synths), Eric Slick (marimba), Dan Blacksberg (trombone), John Pettit (trumpet), Brandon Beaver (vox), Eliza Hardy (vox), Cecilia Corrigan (vox), Spooky (vox).

All songs written by Make A Rising.

THOUGHTS

This 3 song EP was originally intended to come out as a split 12″ with the D.C. band,  http://humesongs.bandcamp.com/" rel="nofollow - Hume . Unfortunately, I moved across the country and Make A Rising could not support a physical release. This was also meant to be a teaser for our upcoming double album release, but the status of that project is now up  in the air.

This recording seems like a logical step after “Infinite Ellipse”. We made some internally controversial decisions. I hope it rewards in the same way that 10cc’s “How Dare You” rewarded me after half a year of listening. It took a year and a half to finish these beasts. Enjoy!

<3 Jesse

Twas funny to hear the Beatles Hello Goodbye reference just as I was thinking it had a bit of Beatley Vaudeville to it, a little bit Beefheartish as well.    Cool music.  I'll listen to the rest of the tracks now.  lovely vocals ahhas.

Hey this is Jesse from Make A Rising. Thanks for posting and listening! A small note from my brother who saw this thread and wanted me to set the record straight that the whole "Hello Goodbye" bit is not an intentional reference to the Beatles. I know that sounds crazy, but if you knew my brother you would understand.
