I'd like to suggest my band Caligula's Horse for inclusion in the archive. We've just released our debut "Moments From Ephemeral City". The whole album can be heard/ Downloaded (for "pay what you want") at www.samvallen.com

Not sure exactly what sub genre it fits into; it's fairly eclectic - there's a lot of acoustic guitar as well as a lot of heavier chuggy stuff - but the groups made up of myself (Sam Vallen from Quandary) and vocalsit Jim Grey from Arcane. Both of our bands are on the archive.

All the info is on my website. Thanks for your consideration!

IMO it's too heavy (seems redundant) for heavy prog. I'd say exp/post metal before I'd say heavy prog. I'm sure a collab will notify the prog metal team soon.

However, I believe a requirement for addition to PA is your music is "signed" (AKA it's being sold). Is there a place somewhere (iTunes, CDbaby, etc) where the music is being sold? I guess you could just sell it on bandcamp while your band is being evaluated LOL

And away from suggestions, the music is great! I like it a lot.

^ the music must be on a proper media and be available commercially, but the artist doesn't necessarily have to be with a record label

I don't intend on putting it on iTunes; It just straight up doesn't generate as much cash as Bandcamp does in terms of the cut we get, but that said, it is indeed available "commercially" on my Bandcamp site....

Thanks for the comments too mate. You're right about the exp/post metal thing too... Definitely fits it better than Heavy Prog;)

^I actually just talked with a collab and selling it for money isn't necessarily needed. In the coming hours this will be brought to the prog metal team. Smile

Sounds like a good fit for "Prog Metal" IMO, no Experimental/Post though
I'll add the band to our "voting charts".
You can follow the process http://progfreak.com/Caligula-s-Horse-138023.html?path=pa/recent" rel="nofollow - here

It might take us quite some time till we reach a conclusion, you might speed up the addition if you could provide us a 2-3 paragraph bio that we can edit and publish on the site.

No problem at all, should I post the bio here or P.M it to you?
