Two bands with completely similar styles.  It's hard to tell these two beasts apart sometimes!  Which one you like better?

I wanted to get in on the action one time before the style wore out.  LOL

Besides, I think it's an interesting pairing.  I really do: Both use symphonic and rock elements, both have creative compositions, both have interesting lyrics, and both have violin!

LOL Just barely, I think!

Quite true. Both are great bands in their own right. And I just purchased "Leftoverture" as well. Approve

Approve

Listen, despite what ratings here say, Somewhere to Elsewhere, the latest Kansas studio album, is their best work.  Modern production with all original members (and Billy Greer singing lead on one number- wow).  I think you will love it.

Great song. Thumbs Up Kansas for me, though the bands are so similar that I really have a tough time making a decision. Wink

Joking aside, motW is also great.

Kansas define mediocre, and motW are a fantastic even if sometimes flawed band. This isn't even close.

Ugh so this IS a new PA trend...comparing bands that are nothing a like.
At least it's for silly lulz (I hope!)

Kansas is pretty cool. I like them.
But one is classic/hard rock band with some proggyness and one is an avant metal band, with some stuff that really blows me my mind. Pretty obvious which gets my vote.

But which is which!?

I think you are out to lunch on that

most of the regular voters will only vote when they have heard both

I like MotW       they are pretty good

but Kansas at their peak is top notch

I really enjoy both.  Comparing them is silly, so I shall not do so.

No vote. Generally spoken, I think I like Kansas more, but even Leftoverture or Point of Know Return are no match for Part the Second.
