Both these albums from esteemed math rock pioneers Don Caballero are considered to be the pinnacle works of the genre and have very high ratings on this website, yet stylistically the two are noticeably different. Which one do you think is best?

I would rather have Babe Ruth's Amar Caballero listed here ... much better than those caballeros! Either of these two albums are pretty incredible. American Don is my favorite of the two and it's significantly lighter than DC II in terms of tone, less rocking but more sort of ditzy mathy fun. DC II has much more of a garage rock kind of feel. -------------

American Don for me. Don Cab 2 is a fair amount heavier and raw compared to American Don, but is less angular and intricate, in my opinion. The Peter Criss Jazz is my favourite!
