one is jolly and fun the other is mysterious and lumineuss, both are beutifull, though Eric Stewart sings a litle better then Andrew, Andrew is a beast on guitar and Stewart is steady and solid as well, but not a beast Tongue,

the camel one

I think Camel and King Crimson are the biggest prog influence on Opeth

I think the Lotus Eater have some elements you also find in the title track of Larks Tongues in Aspic, the talking at the end of Lotus eater when the etherial noices are pressent their are some voices arguing in Russian and english their is similar part in Lark Tongue in Aspic part I

I have the album. But I haven't listened to it many times. When I'll listen to Lark's tongues in aspic again I'll tell you. Maybe you're right Christoffer.

I listened before to both YouTube tracks, but did not comment. I did not know that Feel the Benefit piece, but don't enjoy that live version at all - too AORish/ slick for me. Even when I was big on Camel, Lady Fantasy was not one of my preferred songs. I don't like that live Lady Fantasy version - much prefer the studio album version. I won't vote unless at some time I hear the 10cc studio album version of that. It may be that like with the Camel one you posted, I would much prefer the non-live version.
