When that happens to me, Opera saves the text in the box so it's still there when I hit back. Maybe you should try that (or see if you can get the browser you do use to do that). It's incredibly annoying, but if Max could fix it he would have a long time ago.

Or maybe it's time to switch to phpBB or Vbulletin...

I'm sure mailto:M@X" rel="nofollow - M@X is doing whatever he can, of course.

Actually this bug had completely disappeared for a few months, so obviously he had done something about it and was successful at it

I use IE or exceptionally google chrome >> they've never given me a problem anywhere..... I've no idea what these other "browers" that you mention are. .... I tried Firefox, with the intent to block the adds, but wasn't really ilmpressed >> I found it less user-friendly)..

The thing is that I only get this bug on mailto:M@Xs" rel="nofollow - M@X's forums

Well you probably still shouldn't be using IE. ;-) I didn't mean to imply that it was a problem with your browser or computer (because it's not), I'm just saying that Opera will save the text from the previous page and I guess there's probably some way to get Chrome and Firefox to do it, I don't know.

Although now that I think about it, the access denied error may lock me out of using the back button, in which case this advice is useless. And PA doesn't like Opera because hitting enter screws up the spacing on your post (you have to hit shift-enter, and nothing else on the internet does this) and I can't see the star ratings on the front page of MMA and JMA in Opera, so maybe it's not worth the hassle. I should probably switch to Firefox, I like the UI from the new update, but I'm too lazy to stop using Opera out of habit.

Why is the OP linked to smileys? LOL

Anyways, I'm not getting this problem.

I had this the other day - about 5 of my 10 attempted posts disappeared like this. Seems to have been alright since.
