Two songs by the same band. Both are tracks from a masterpiece album, have similar titles and more or less similar length. Which is your favourite?

I suspect this poll has been done before, but even if so: never mind about that.
Ik trek van leer!
My pick would be: Harem Scarem, even if it seems to be an attempt to do another Hocus Pocus...
I like the chord changes better, plus I prefer Jan's guitar work on this track to... well, the lick on Hocus Pocus and the yodeling of Thijs.

"Harem Scarem" has none of the energy or power of "Hocus Pocus". Elevator music versus licking a light socket.

Harem Scarem is a fun song, but Hocus Pocus is magic.Clown

Hocus Pocus easily. Harem Scarem is somewhat cool, but indeed it seems like a poor attempt to achieve another Hocus Pocus, which of course they didn't. I like Hamburger Concerto better than Moving Waves, but if Hocus Pocus were part of that album instead of Harem Scarem, then it would be even more awsome.

I can imagine, but I didn't check it this time.

Nice yodeling indeed, but the transcription could be improved.

My vote goes to Hocus Pocus too. I like both tracks and I wouldn't call Harem Scarem elevator music, just a slightly lesser track on a masterpiece album, but Hocus Pocus has more power.

It is hard to go against the demonic guitar playing on Hocus Pocus.
