Hi

Mastodon just released a new song called "DEATHBOUND"  in collaboration with Adult Swim, it is very funny

From the Adult Swim website :

Mastodon and Adult Swim have been working together for a long time. We asked them for a song for our Adult Swim Singles Program (fun fact: not a dating service). When they sent us this incredible jam, we knew we had to make a video for it. So we called our friends at Authority Films, and of course, the first thing they thought was "puppets!" Just watch.

Here's the link

It's not from the new album - as I'm aware.

the albums brings tears to my eyes, it is probably as weird as it sounds more progressive then Crack the Skye, more eclectic, and mind-tilting

Well standalone track-wise it doesn't have anything as progressive as The Czar or The Last Baron, nor does it attempt to reach those heights according to the band even. With that said, they've really refined their brand of balls to the wall metalz sound and made it more addictive than ever, which puts it far ahead of their first three releases imo. I'd agree that there's some fresh and eclectic material on there as well. The closing track, "The Sparrow" is also quite something.

Overall I'm enjoying it a lot more than expected. Thumbs Up

their are some dream pop/rock elements on some songs and the Sparrow is purified prog rock
