These guys are cool. 2 of the members from my fave magma album(1001 degrees) formed zao. French fusion is easily the best fusion imo. Cool melodies, cool sounds. None of that annoying stuff you hear from Mahavishnu Cool

Zao needs more love. I've only heard their first three albums, the first being the most Zeuhl sounding.

This thread might be better served if fans of the band provided (legal) links to the band's music, bio, discog or website.

Here's the link to the band's page here at Progarchives with two tracks to listen to:

Zao is great, and I have enjoyed all of the band's albums.  The debut album (Z=7L) has an unfortunate, I think, overall too low rating at PA -- I think it's a fantastic debut. Osiris was what got me into Zao initially, and the subsequent two are really good too (I have the latest but been a  while since I listened).  Of course Yochk'o Seffer of Zao (and Magma) has really some great albums out under his name as wel that Zao and Magma fans should really get.

For any who don't yet known Zao well (a few faves of mine):

(the first thing I heard of Zao and what led me into exploring the band initially).
