Anyone checked this band out yet?

Their debut album "Land of the sun" from 2010 is excellent.
A fine blend of old-school and new prog, mixing a lot of styles together, resulting in a wide specter in their sound, and each song sounding different from each other.

The tracks "Land of the sun", "Broken man" and "Out to the fields" are excellent prog stuff.

I just think it is strange that you "pretend" you're a fan of them when you're actually the drummer in the band.
You've got like 7 posts saying "check out this great band i just discovered" and the rest of your posts is a bunch of trash-talk about some other prog band from Norway.

It just seems really dumb is all i'm saying..

Where do you see anything to that effect? I just searched his name and didn't find any trash talking or any claim of him being the drummer.

If it exists, where did you see it? Confused

I'm sorry??
No I'm not the drummer in the band.
What 7 posts?
I've only written this one.

I just searched his other posts (i didn't really count them). And it may a coincidence but i just figured it had to be the same person from this forum (who also calles himself Moonstone and says right out that he's the drummer of Fatal Fusion): http://progrock.diskusjonsforum.no/progrock-about792.html
I could be wrong by all means, and it's no big deal, just a funny coincidence.

Wow..now that's a strange one.
No, I'm not even a musician myself.
I just like this band, along with many other Scandinavian Prog bands,
like Magic Pie, Host, Anekdoten, Popol Vuh etc, and discovered this band through a friend in Poland last year. Norway seems to be a good Prog-country

Sure... From what I understand Moonstone was even the name of the band the Fatal Fusion drummer played in earlier, so it's truly an amazing coincidence. (I also like the detail where you now wrote "Host" instead of the norwegian word "Høst" like you did in an earlier post.)

satan and garfunkel:

Pretty obvious that I've written a bad review about some band that you're a member of yourself, or know pretty well.
This is a childish way of getting back at me.
It's a free world, we can mean what we mean.

I'm NOT any member of any band, så stop accusing me of things just to get back at me for some poor review..

Haha, it's evident which band you pissed off, after reading the "Rites at dawn"-thread:

http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=78219

Someone's taking criticism WAAAY too personally..
"Guys, someone's writing sh*t about our record! We have to discredit this user FAST, or it will effect the album sales!"

Way to go guys...very mature.
