Recently during Loreley festival,  I saw the concert of Threshold with returning original member Damian Wilson and with whom the band is planning to release a new album. Personally I'm not a huge fan of this band, but singers are very good and original. Wilson is my favorite, actually one of the finest singers in today's music, but it goes mostly for his work with Arjen Lucassen or with Landmarq. However, Threshold with McDermott have apparently something extra, as the albums with him are considered as the peaks of the band...so who would be preffered singer for the next album?

Mikael Akerfeldt for fans of Opeth who don't like his growls (and generally the growls): If they don't like it then they are pussies.

Damian. Excellent with Ayreon, Star One, Wakeman Snr's New English Rock Ensemble and Wakeman Jnr's Headspace too.
