A friend recently gave me a copy of Jethro Tull's Minstrel in the Gallery. After hearing the song Cold Wind to Valhalla, I could not help but notice the atrocious sound quality on such a wonderful song. I went on youtube and found a version of the song ripped from the original vinyl and alas, the sound quality was wonderful! Is this simply a product of a poor remastering or something else? An additional oddity I discovered was that my version of Requiem has no lyrics and is very different from the song I found on youtube. Can anyone explain these strange changes to the album?
