That sux.  I still haven't bought their albums after the debut.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

They lost me along the way I'm afraid. the jump from The Dark Third to the electronic stuff wasn't to my taste at all. I'm sure they would have lost many other fans over this too.

I haven't heard anything since The Dark Third either, but I really did like that album.

I actually really liked AVO, despite the change in style. Sucks that they're breaking up though.

When I got the news that they existed it was when people here got mad about their style change so I didn't even cared to pick up their debut or any of their EPs. I silently hoped they would change back so I would have a reason to check them, but I guess i'll never know now. . . LOL

Its a shame they're not coming near me, I would love to see them play The Dark Third in full.

No, this is not fair. I feel like a great part of my expectations for years to come has been stolen away from me. This was the only contemporary band I really liked and the only one from whom I bought all the albums in advance. A great woe indeed, makes me feel like swearing. Damnit, what am I going to listen to now?

Honestly The Dark Third was their peak. I love electronic music but they hit what they were great with right on the onset and strayed ever more from that point. Sad to see them go, but if Hammer and Anvil was an indication, it was for the best.

To me, Hammer and Anvil still remains the best album released this year and last year combined

I dunno. Just seemed uninspired to me.

The Dark Third is still well worth checking out IMO. I think they were hoping for wider success with the change of style but perhaps its backfired on them?

I have both their second and third album, of which the second is the best. The latest years I've been more into electronica than the usual run-of-the-mill prog.

A shame they broke upUnhappy

I did finally get their second one.  Not as bad as some have said.
