In Rainbows for me. Most of my favourites (and this is one of my favourite years) didn't make it to this list, though.

PT followed by BTBAM. I was tempted to vote for Rush, but then again, Snakes And Arrows is only an alright album.

I hate to always mention another in these polls, but Aranis II is the one from that year that I've played the most.

Doomsday Afternoon for me. Melancholy dressed in a rock n roll symphony.

Very, very tough one for me but I went with Empires Never Last. I could easily have went with TFKs, Porcupine Tree, Gazpacho or Phideaux. I find that I listen to the Galahad album more than the others. Great, tougher sound musically and fantastic singing from Stu Nicholson!

Another toughy, but I'm giving the edge to Fear of a Blank Planet, which for me is just ahead of Frames.

A great year for prog, isn't it?

I'm voting for Morse's Sola Scriptura, but I know Fear of a Blank Planet will win this anyway, although I don't think it's better than Morse's, TFK's and Magic Pie's albums.

All of the Porcupine Tree fans voting for Fear of a Blank Planet haven't yet pointed out that it's actually Fear of A Blank Planet, as opposed to Fear of The Blank Planet as it's currently entered. Wink

Thirteenth Star was indeed a fantastic one.  I think "Dark Star" could totally be a James Bond theme song.
