Empty Yard Experiment (EYE)

seems experimental/post rock.

song: "Nostalgic"

song: "The Poet"

This band is from United Arab Emirates. It consists of four Iranian emigrants, one member from eastern europe (don't know which country) and one member from UAE.

highly deserves considering for an addition.

Really liked Nostalgic and I've never heard anyone from UAE before. It strikes me as Cure/Banshees take on 'trancey/spacey' but using conventional rock instrumentation unlike the dance fraternity. Not really experimental or post rock though. Like how they pace and build the intensity gradually. The Poet has a lot more of the experimental elements you mention but strikes me as more industrial/metal than post rock. The quieter sung section near the middle has a lovely Disintegration era Cure vibe about it. Good band certainly but doubt if they would qualify as Prog.

Nice band! They sound like a lighter Indukti, so I'll pass them to the PMT for evaluation.

Yes a lighter Indukti, that makes sense, certainly for the first track with it's eastern scales and odd time-signatures. Second track is more Killing Joke alike though, will need to hear more, but the pleasure will be mine in this case Thumbs Up
