Hey guys, been an avid PA user for years and years and gotten into a lot of bands from it, so I thought it high time to promote my own!

Montresor are a four-piece instrumental prog band from Melbourne, Australia. Our first album, Daybreak, is just about to be released on CD on the 29th December. It explores the heaviness of post-black metal bands like Alcest as well as later King Crimson, but isn't afraid to go into lighter territory such as the flamenco section of ...To The Cosmos or the funk of Bertrand Russell.
The entire album is able to be preordered (on CD or as a digital download) and listened to in it's entirety on our bandcamp: http://montresor.bandcamp.com" rel="nofollow - http://montresor.bandcamp.com

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the album, also in part where you think it would fit best genre-wise. Either eclectic prog or Heavy Prog, I'll let you guys decide before I send off the email :)

Cameron (Montresor)

Nice stuff! I think you would fit nicely in Heavy Prog. I'll alert the team.
You can also follow our evaluation of the band here:  http://progfreak.com/Montresor-151289.html?path=pa/heavy_prog" rel="nofollow - http://progfreak.com/Montresor-151289.html?path=pa/heavy_prog

Awesome! Thank you very much. But in even more awesome news...Phideaux of Phideaux likes our album! I sent him a link over facebook and he seemed really taken by it, posting it on his wall and everything.
Plus there's this amazing quote:
"I feel like I've been FraCktured by Steve Hillage... (and it's a good feeling...)"

If that doesn't make us PA worthy, I don't know what does LOL

Also, Montresor as in The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe
