I haven't actually heard Spiral, but I'm voting for it on the grounds that NOTHING could be worse than Journey to the Centre of the Earth. ------------- A TVR is not a car. It's a way of life. |

We could always journey to center of the earth in a spiral... I'll always have a soft spot for journey. One of my first prog albums before I was seriously into prog. ------------- Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Too different. A bit pretentious symphonic opera vs a little experimental electronic. I enjoy more the Wakeman's live, but if it was vs another album i,e, Heaven And Hell I would have gone for the second. ------------- Curiosity killed a cat, Schroedinger only half. Journey is probably my least favourite Wakeman album. I would rather listen to Country Airs. Spiral is well up there as one of Vangelis best albums. The title track is amazing while To The Unknown Man is beautifull. Dervish D is also great. The slightly jokey album artwork is also very appealing.
