Hello, Prog Archives! I'm C-jeff (aka Dmitry) from Russia. I just released my new solo album. It is almost 40-minutes full of progressive electronica/chiptune, influenced from Yes and Pink Floyd to Dream Theater and Planet X! Enjoy the music, and Happy New Year!

I just downloaded this free and am barely through part 2 but already I can say that this is f**king fantastic! I've not listened to much "chiptune" before, mainly because of the dance-oriented stuff with the pounding backbeats... but this is unbelievably well done. It's got an instantly nostalgic feel to it, sounding like 80s video game soundtracks but has all the maturity of contemporary prog metal.

Congratulations!

Thank you, Garden!

Yeah, I do it in opposite that chiptune is only dance-oriented untz-untz stuff :) Unfortunately, this is mostly true, but nevertheless, there are so many great videogame/chiptune music around, and some of it is strongly connected with progressive genres. I really hope such a mixture will find its audience and probably Prog Archives may be a central point to try it :)

Lol I was in here last week suggesting your album dog, and i'll say it's an honor to be in your online presence, the album is nothing short of amazing.
The introduction of guitar blew me away, if you need another shred guitarist for the next album i'm your man, man.

Guys it's been like 2 years and C-Jeff's still not in and no comments from moderators. If there's ever been something off the radar worthy of being on here, then this is it.
I mean, Preschtale is a firm 4 star album, and other artists under Ubiktune are easy 3's. I've been listening to different ones like Coda, and WillRock literally every day. I can't get enough of it.
If you look at the releases these guys put out, it's a tight community, practically all of the projects are a group effort.
Come on PA, I know you've got it in you. Put them under Prog Electronic. Clap
