Wish You Were Here. Dark Side is second, Animals is imho somewhat behind (but still 4+/5).

I'd pick Animals just ahead of DSOTM.

Never been a great fan of WYWH - only Welcome to the Machine really excites me.

Well, I never liked Animals too much (I couldn't express why but it's a fact) and Dark Side always seemed to me a little bit "overhyped" (although it's very strong record). Wish You Were Here has been always the closest to my heart so the winner is obvious. It's strange but on the same level as WYWH I'd count Meddle. Maybe it's because it was probably the first LP I had got in my hands a lot years ago. But it's not in this poll so it was easy for me :-)

Wish you were here has the wonderful divided Shine on You Crazy Diamond, but as far as a the best album Dark Side wins slightly

It's weird but Animals really fell through the cracks sort of and I didn't hear it for the first time until many years after the other two.

Okay there will never be a truer statement than the following one.
Animals = 3 stars
Dark Side = 4 stars
Wish You Were Here = 5 stars, actually 4.5 stars, but it truncates to 5.

I never really enjoyed dsotm so much although it has one of the best tracks which I like from Floyd. That is Time and Great gig in the sky.
Wish you were here is a classic and one of the greatest albums of all times. I think that welcome to machine is one of the most dynamic song I have ever heard.
Animals is an album that I really started appriciated later and has become an amazing experience now.
So it is:
Wish
Animals

Dark side of  the Moon, Animals and WYWH. I am tired of "Have A Cigar" and "Wish You Were Here" and "WTTM". I never get tired of Animals or Dark Side.

Dark Side and Wish are about equal, and far superior to Animals, IMO.

Dark Side of the Moon. More to explore than those later ones. The concept is looser, so more mysterious. Wonderful timbres too. The production is surely the best ever. Here is an album that deserves its sales figures.

All three are incredible. Obviously, DSOTM will enter history as an iconic album of its time, whilst WYWH is full of beauty. However, my vote goes to Animals, which I regard as a stunning album, full of genius, and a perfect reflection of the dark time in which it was recorded.

Waters wrote all of the lyrics for DSOTM and, I believe, WYWH as well. Certainly the former. In fact, following Syd's departure, Waters was the main lyricist for the Floyd.

Never cared much for Animals.  Tough call between the remaining two.  While Dark Side is consistently great from beginning to end, Wish You Were Here has some real masterpieces in Shine on You Crazy Diamond and Welcome to the Machine.  I voted for WYWH, but I could just as easily gone with DSOTM.

Dark - more cohesive and fluid as a unit
Wish - More direct and forceful
Animals - The most bitter and dishevelled of the three.

I prefer them in this order.

Though I haven't listened to any of these albums for quite a few years (I still have the three on cassette), Animals has easily been my favourite of these.  It was one my favourite rock albums for many years (teenager through 20s).  Of my friends who liked Pink Floyd (especially Dark Side of the Moon, Wish you Were Here and The Wall), I was the only one who really liked Animals (as well as Atom Heart Mother).  It really clicked with me immediately in a big way.  Since getting into a lot of other music, I haven't desired listening to Pink Floyd much, although the pre-Meddle ones get played now and then.

You guys are so hipster, leaving Dark Side at the side of the road as #3 (anything so popular cannot be any good, right?).

Anyway, Dark Side is the winner and true champion. BTW, it's also the best album to play in your car on the way home after any concert. Try it and see for yourself.

Perhaps my favourite trilogy of albums in a row. I really love all three, however, for me Dark Side goes to number 3. I go for WYWH, which has been my favourite for quiet a while... though lately sometimes I've felt Animals may take it's place.

My taste has actually changed over the years.  15 years ago I would have put Animals first and Dark Side last.  Now, it's just the opposite.  Perhaps in another 15 years things will come full circle.

Three of the best albums ever made, IMO.

I'd rank WYWH on third. Yes, it has Shine On and Cigar, but it also has Welcome to the Machine which I find a bit too long and un-dynamic.

For top spot it really is kind of a draw between Dark Side and Animals, but if pressed to choose I'd have to go with Dark Side.
I mean, It's got Any Colour You Like and... well, it's the Dark Side of the Moon, innit?

"Animals" has dark atmospheres ("dystopian" organ, experiments, etc.), raw lyrics, best guitar licks, ... . That's beyond "WYWH" and "DSOTM". Voted for "Animals".

Wish You Were Here, it feels the most complete to me, and the flow of this album is great! I love every song from this album, and it is Pink Floyd's finest, most passionate moment for me. Dark Side Of The Moon I feel is overrated at times, and I feel the flow of Animals is tainted somewhat by Pigs (Three Different Ones). It's not a bad song, but I feel this one drags a bit (even though Dogs is longer, but i love that song).

Vote for WYWH, but it was long decission. All of them are great, each in its way. Dark side is beautiful art, animals clever mix of fear, confusion and anger and wish you were here full of sentimental memories with something from animals as well.

I don't even care for half of Dark side or a third of Wish. Animals is cool though
