I think Branduardi should be added to the files. He managed to associate folk with classical and maedieval music. The music is lush and many instruments are used : violin, sitar, buzuki, ocarina, harmonica... we've talked about him..... we have some other stuff that the team has to deal with before we jump into wholesale additions. He is going to be considered. I think he should he here. All in due time....

His first two albums were proggyish of sorts (pretty pôpular in Belgium in the 70's), but if included, I'd say in prog-related. ------------- let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

Once I owned the triple live album set, the music is a wonderful, often very warm blend of symphonic prog, classical and folk featuring some great work on vintage keyboards and I love the sound of the Ovation classical guitar, very distinctive

Yes, yes, yes!! The triple live album (I forgot the name) and Alla fiera dell'est are 100% undoubtedly prog, and they are awsome too! I'm not familiar with his after-70's works, so I'm not sure if he deserves a place in prog-folk or prog-related, but he would certainly be a valuable addition to the site. ------------- |
