Wich do you prefer. The bass player and singer or the singer. If there's other fishes I didn't put in the poll, tell me and I'll add them.

Both actually. But I had to choose based on the best solo album, and I prefer Fish out of Water above Thirteenth Star and Suits.

The one who shreds the bass and who plays with Yes.

Fish! Brilliant singer.

Bass players? Who needs 'em anyway. (Just don't tell my stepson that).

Fish would've had a chance if his solo output wasn't so iffy. He seemed to lose the great songwriting he had when he was with Marillion. His solo stuff lacked the "SPARK".

Squire plays bass, Fish plays with words. Fish was a bigger influence to his respective band and I like Marillion more than Yes anyway, easy choice for me.

Don't like either of them from a human point of view, but purely based on the music, Squire wins easily. Indeed, he's one of the best bass players ever, while Fish has completely f***ed up his voice with too much booze, and has done nothing interesting after leaving Marillion.
