VOTE YOUR LEAST FAVORITE TRACK!
Rules are simple. Vote for your LEAST favorite track from this album. The song with the most votes will be eliminated. The last 2 songs remaining will move on to the semi-finals.
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6. ???
7. Surrounded
8. Another Day
My vote goes to Wait For Sleep. We're now down to songs I really like on the album, but I have to vote WFS.

But songs need to be eliminated in order to move on to future rounds and more albums.

I have to go with Wait For Sleep again this round. Although after listening to it again last night I do find it difficult to do so. Wonderful song.

It's sort of an intro to Learning to Live. Wait for Sleep is reprised in LTL, so it's kind of related. It's also got great sense of melody, the kind DT don't really do anymore.

Iunno. I still hear great melody in their music, and I guess I don't hear anything memorable in Wait for Sleep.

Pull me Under (again), "Wait for Sleep" is just a perfect little piano / vocal intro to "Learning to Live". I've always thought the song was beautiful and a great prelude to the fantastic "Learning to Live". I realize that it's not going to last that long, but I'd put it as my third favorite song on the album behind only "Metropolis" and the tremendous "Learning to Live".

I like all the songs on this album, with the possible exception of Another Day, but you've removed that from the list for some inexplicable reason.
So, I guess Pull me Under, which was my favourite track when I first started listening to DT. I guess I've heard it too much..still good though.
------------- Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Read the opening post. You vote your least favourite song in an attempt to eliminate it. Another Day is gone.

I wish people would stop voting for songs they are tired of. They are tired of them because they are so good. I despair i truly do.

There are no 'bad' songs in Survivors. Only least favorites.

Take the Time...again.I will fight until it gets eliminated! By the way, has anyone noticed that the Wait for Sleep/Learning to Live pair corresponds almost exactly with Far From Heaven/Breaking All Illusions from the latest album? Both combine a short, somewhat depressing mellow piano lament with a follow-up, anthemic epic which provides a big shot of hope to answer the doldrums of the first song.
