Hello dear Collaborators, Last night I checked PA for info on FRAGUA, Spanish Symphonic Flamenco-Rock band, and didn't find anything. So I'm suggesting this band to be added, because I think it absolutely belongs here. The closest band I can compare FRAGUA's music to is CAL (also Spanish, featured on PA). Both draw heavily from Southern Spanish influences (both even feature handclappers!), have lighter "symphonicity" and more Flamenco, and both have only one, self-titled, but excellent albums. FRAGUA's sole release came out in 1979. Line up included Juan Correa (vocals), Rafael Rabay (piano); they composed the material on the album. other performers are not credited on album. I'm very familiar with FRAGUA, an excellent band from the ROCK ANDALUZ movement, but not all the Andaluz Rock bands are Prog. Fragua is more oriented towards the blend of Flamenco - Rockabilly and Funk rather than to Prog, but if he team agrees the best place would be in Symphonic with Triana. I will consult, even when I believe it's more Andaluz Funk than it is Andaluz Prog. Iván -------------

IMO and in the opinion of AtomicCrimsonRush, it's probably not Prog, with Folk Prog tendencies In the opinion of SouthSideofthe Sky, probably Folk Prog I will notify the Folk Prog Team and if not accepted, I'll try to make a case for Prog Related. Iván -------------
