Rules are simple. Vote for your LEAST favorite track from this album. The song with the most votes will be eliminated. Since there are only 3 songs on this album, the very last song will go to the semi-finals, with the loser of the next round going to the consolation round.

Well, I'm hoping Soundchaser wins out as I think it was the most daringly different thing Yes ever did.

For me, this is one of the easiest survivor polls, as long as thing go in my own order (which is debatable). The only song I really love on this albums is Gates of Delirium. And the only song I really dislike on this album is Sound Chaser, so the order in which I would like to vote is very obvious.

I sense the Relayer rounds will be almost as predictable as the CttE ones were.

I really like the aggression of sound chaser.

But I still prefer the other two tracks. Suspect that the tranquil To be over will be booted out first. The song has one of the most upbeat endings to close an album. Lovely song from one of the true masterpieces of prog.

All tracks are amazing, so I grudgingly must axe "cha-cha-cha...cha-cha!"

On paper, Soundchaser sounds like it is the ultimate in Prog, but the over-busy quality of it makes it my least favorite.

To Be Over. Thank God I didn't vote for the first track, or I would get a blow on the head. I think Sound Chaser is the best on the album. Almost powerhouse.

To Be Over.

Great track, but Gates and Chaser are masterpieces.

This is the toughest one for me yet. I love all three songs, but went with Sound Chaser.

Oh well, it seems To Be Over will be over first. As long as Gates of Delirium wins this, I don't really care so much. As a matter of fact, I like much better the instrumental versions Steve Howe has plyed of To Be Over, at about half the time, and his gorgeous guitars everywhere. He has played it several times in Yes concerts only with his guitar, and then he included another version of it in one of his studio solo albums, with the rest of a band (but without vocals)... somehow the melody sounds more magical in this formats, for me.

Sound Chaser, although I do like some parts of it.

I also like better the live version of sound Chaser that appears on "The Word is Live". It has vocals, and some really beautiful instrumental parts that I don't remember on the original... unfortunatley, it also has the cha cha chas.

Can I change my vote? ha ha----was torn and voted Sound Chaser but think it is really a powerhouse of prog---TBO is very pretty with amazing solo's by Howe and Moraz---but if you are in the mood for a wild ride---almost like none other in prog----that 10 minutes of Sound Chaser delivers----it's crazy.

I agree.  Handshake It sounds more cohesive and less noisy, and Howe's guitar cadenza is much better.

To Be Over. I don't really like the "Cha Cha Cha"''s in Sound Chaser, but the first half of that track is too good...

Wow. Sound Chaser is losing. How did that happen? I beginning to realise I don't have much in common with people here.

Only one track Wink
There are parts of Sound Chaser that I really like though.
At the end I don't like it much anymore, the part with the cha-cha's.
Wasn't it Iván who also mentioned that several times on the forum?
I feel the same way.
I do like the radical experimenting on Sound Chaser, though.
Gates Of Delirium and To Be Over are nearly  flawless, hence my choice.

Indeed I'm surprised Sound Chaser is losing now. I thought To bo over would be the first to go, given the votes. However, I don't complain.

Sound Chaser is decidely different from the standard Yes fare, and the other 2 tunes are more typical Yes sounding, so I suppose that explains the vote,

I too am surprised that members of a prog rock forum wouldn't be more supportive of a band actually doing something different, like Sound Chaser, instead of simply continuing in the same vein.

I think Relayer in general is quite different from the previous albums.

I agree. Nothing usual about Gates and To Be Over has an unique atmosphere never done before or since.
