Seriously, everyone vote because this is be all end all...the results will decide for the rest of mankind: the best religion.
As well as ranking all the others! This also means we can end all other PA threads on the topic, since it will have been settled.

There is no choice for "other" because it'd be endless debate. So if your particular belief is not on here, well sorry. You don't count.

OK OK these are not all religions, but you get the point... If you want me to specify what's the best "spiritual belief/sect/world view or lack thereof" So no bickering over that crap, just which is better. Big smile
Edit: Sheesh, atheists/agnostics...those are listed here just for the sake of convenience. OK? That's not the point anyway, it's about which is better.

GOGOGO!

EDIT:

PA has decided. Atheism wins.
We can now stop all the bickering and usher in world peace.

Who wants to be the one to tell the Middle East? LOL

If anyone isn't happy well too bad, it was up to you guys...

I voted, but I regret it. As long as the religion in question is based on love and not hate, then I'm all for it.

Deism is not really a religion, but still. Then Jainism, then who cares because they're all pretty bad in their own way.

Also, why did you include atheism and agnosticism? Why so troll?

Holy s$%t, that's a lot of religions. Don't know much about them. I certainly would not vote for Christianity. It's too liberal. And I wonder how fundamentalists would interpret bits of The Bible.

I said in the damn OP no complaining over that! That I was lumping it all under "religion"  (also that some of these are not religions) why you so bad at english?

I have locked out any religion, even 'the religion of lock', 'lockism', 'lockerbie', 'holy deadlock' or whatever name is given to it.
One more remark: religion is easily confused with faith, which is a different thing.
So no vote...

Well, I had to try and include as many as possible.
As well as some other religions that are kept down by the man like Church of Fripp and negative theism.
Why is it so "crazy" that there are actually -7 gods? Angry

Fair enough, but remember this decides it...forever. So if you don't vote can't complain when a true, global religion/belief/view is decided onSmile

No, I didn't. I cannot tell one religion is better than the other more than I could say 2+5 is more than 3+4.

Voting for some religion ahead of something else is illogical. How could one religion be better than some other - enlighten, please..!

People say that Catcher in the Rye helped fuel John Lennon's murder. In reality, its just whiny and meandering. I think I would've liked it more if it HAD been as subversive and powerful as to truly influence the assassination of someone I admire.

I think Charlie Manson once claimed that his inspiration was The Beatles' song Helter Skelter. I could be wrong, but hey! Contriving war from the bible is easy, but it'd be just as easy as using Green Eggs and Ham to to support nuclear mass-murder in another society. The Cat in the Hat supports chaos, rage, dissonance, disobeying authority and other such nonsense. Hey - 'Chaos, Rage, Dissonance, Disobeying Authority, and Other Such Nonsense, Dr. Seuss' biography. Now available in hardback for 19.99'.

By Lester Bangs' twin brother.

And seriously people...I think it's obvious (and stated) that I put belief/world view/ lack thereof all under one umbrella...
My posts already ramble enough I can't specify every damn thing!

I really am upset by the atheism votes, sooo mainstream PA. It's cool to be atheist.
The lack of 42, Church of Fripp, and Scientology really disappoint me :(
It was going okay until some numpty waved a red rag:

Well it's a tough one Dean. I of course don't want the Christians to win (they've had enough amirite?) but Atheism has the most?

its the mainstream "anti" vote. Though I did provoke it....
I guess I now hate my creation,  this is what God feels like when he looks at humanity :O :O

I thought for sure 42 would be soaring (I really did).

Was worse than that Brian - you are an interventionist creator who meddled and interfered with the development of your creation . The one thing you learn by reading the script in advance... these things never end well.

If only you would have included ELPism you would have got a different picture (at an exhibition Wink).

The bestest religion of all is Fairbankisanism, which embraces that Roy Fairbank is the son of Jesus, with the power of Jesus squared (as Jesus had the power of God times 2). I'm so powerful and holy that I choose to be a completely mediocre mortal atheist, because my power is so great.  My secret power is so secret, that not only Romans would confuse me for a run-of-the-mill troublemaker, but they wouldn't even confuse for that, they wouldn't even feel threatened.

Great Religion.

There are actually two types of Satanism, theistic Satanism and Laveyan (or non-theistic) Satanism.  Both are kind of scary, but the theistic kind is scarier.  A little disturbing that it has two votes.

I'm gonna have to go with Jedi.  Just because it's cool.

The basic problem here is that none is not an option.  However, unfortunately according to the laws of quantum religion, if none exists then something will have to spontaneously appear.

I'd vote for Reality, but that's not an option.

Any western religion. I feel more comfortable surrounded by those types of religions.

I'm not comfortable being surrounded by religion at all.   If ever there was statement that sums things up for me in the matters of life the universe and everything, that is it.

I don't care to worship anything. What kind of Supreme Being needs worship? Not too supreme if it needs ego-stroking. Since "nothing" was not an option, I voted atheism, but that is not a religion. Buddhism isn't bad as a practice either. Never met a Buddhist who would bomb a church or mosque or eat someone's face beneath a freeway overpass.

I think Agnosticism, because in the end, none of us really knows whether God exists or not, so we might as well not bother ourselves with it.

From the actual religions, though, I don't really know. I'd have to find out more about each one of them before I can decide.

I think that your frippism cannot to be proper religion because Fripp exists!

You have proof of this "Fripp" you speak of? You have seen him? You have seen the fabled flame-headed one known as the "The Minx" or have corroborated evidence of the "Beaton Bunnerius Bun"? I think not.

For in very deed, as the Fripp guitarist, composer and record producer liveth, which hath kept me back from hurting thee, except thou hadst hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not been left unto prog-rockers by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.

It is not some Truth, but normally truth.
