I recently bought a lot of cds of this real Underground-Progressive-Dark-Gothic Italian label (Presence, Northwinds, Akron, Black Widow, Universal Totem Orchestra, Runaway Zed, Antonius Rex...) Does anybody else know and like this stuff? |

I only know Universal Totem Orchestra, but their one album is fantastic zeuhl-influenced stuff with some beautiful moments (especially with the female vocalist). One of my favorite albums of 1999. ------------- http://www.progreviews.com/">

| Yes, they are definitely specialized in gothic progressive. Black Widow bands that I have heard are at least Presence (only samples) and Standarte. Also Dunwich but I believe they released only their debut under this label. Recently I bought a cd by Il Bacio della Medusa which Black Widow started to distribute after the band had already released the album by themselves. It is quite good but very different (more like traditional Italian prog) from the other Black Widow bands. |

Jacula, of course. If you consider it a Black Widow band because those are obviously re-releases just like Antonius Rex probably is. |
