You're crazy. Like f**king insane. I love this album as much as Foxtrot, so it's difficult for me to eliminate one. But first vote goes to...... Happy Family. Great, very quirky (almost avant imo) song, but a very demanding listen. The Lady is just too calm and soothing to eliminate first. ------------- Crushed like a rose in the riverflow. |

Man, this is hard. I'd say Happy Family just because it doesn't grasp my attention as much as the others do; still a great tune though.

Well I don't know about ANY King Crimson album, there is Starless, Frakture, and Level Five which I believe are superior. 21st Century Schizoid Man is probably the only song that's better than Lizard from the early albums, but only because it's a prog classic.

Toss-up between Family and Lady.... went with Happy Family. Starts out cool but has too much nondescript stuff in it.

One of my favourite albums. Lady of the Dancing Water is my least favourite, the rest I rank in the order they appear on the tracklist. The "trifecta" of Cirkus, Indoor Games and Happy Family is incredible, IMO. Wonderful weirdness. |

Come on, yesterday that I entered the forum this thread wasn't still here, and today I come and the thread has come and gone, no chance to vote... and if one day I can't enter the forum, then there will be two rounds gone... however, I still may not have known which one to vote for, though I'm not displeased with Happy Family leaving first. If I heard the album again, I may have voted for that one anyway. |
