Heres another old electronic oddity. This is Emerson Meyers sole album, Provocative Electronics (Electronic Constructions On Traditional Forms), released in 1970. Pretty dated sounding, but I have never found that to be a minus for music. Oh my god. That opening sequence is absolutely amazing. -------------

You are right Keishiro, but then again the electronic umbrella is the only thing at PA that features music outside of the rock sphere. A lot of the electronic artists from the 80s have next to nothing going for them in terms of rock, but they do tell the story of where the genre unfolded - and remain essential to the way we have chosen to illustrate it here.
Had this album been made in the 80s though, I wouldn't have given it a snowman's chance in hell, but it is from 1970, which makes it forerunner and slightly pioneering of the synth. ^ Well understood, that's why Mittelwinternacht '71 have been included in ... for me they were / are / will be one of controversial cases (love them though).
