Heres another old electronic oddity.
This is Emerson Meyers sole album, Provocative Electronics (Electronic Constructions On Traditional Forms), released in 1970. Pretty dated sounding, but I have never found that to be a minus for music.

Oh my god. That opening sequence is absolutely amazing.

^ Interesting stuff as a pioneer of weird electronic (guess Alan loves this) but no progressive rock structure in it.

You are right Keishiro, but then again the electronic umbrella is the only thing at PA that features music outside of the rock sphere. A lot of the electronic artists from the 80s have next to nothing going for them in terms of rock, but they do tell the story of where the genre unfolded - and remain essential to the way we have chosen to illustrate it here.
Had this album been made in the 80s though, I wouldn't have given it a snowman's chance in hell, but it is from 1970, which makes it forerunner and slightly pioneering of the synth. I will have to think about this.

^ Well understood, that's why Mittelwinternacht '71 have been included in ... for me they were / are / will be one of controversial cases (love them though).
