a band from Notodden i think who plays a mix of progressive metal, alt metal and death metal ( suppose from what i hear) with some nice post metaly elements (as i resonate them to be)
2012 album Ønskediktet was released in 2012 , suprising right
this song is also pretty awesome (the guitar here is extremly nicely played)
this song is even more technical

Vegard Sverre Tveitan is the bands producer (who is in progarchives)
interview from 2009, and they obviously have gotten a drummer

Not quite sure if prog. Prolly influenced by it, and not a bad listen for sure, but prolly not quite making the cut. :/

i think they are progy enouugh, experimental, and why makes them les skilled then any bands in prog experimental, their are def bands in post/expt who is les prog then htis band, the heavyness, the technicality, originality, elements of Tool, Opeth, (two prog bands), i think the progressive and alternative play well against eachother in this album, and i never doubt the progyness when i heard it, definitly more prog then let say Deftones, and many progy textures which would seem close for Tool as i say,heavy/soft, the album is also pretty varied, not one song that sounds similar or stale or following a formula,
this is pretty progressive i would say The band, from Notodden, have managed to put together an album that
mixes alternative rock and extreme metal in a way that i’ve never heard
anyone do ahead of them. http://www.norskmetal.net/orkenkjott-onskediktet-review/" rel="nofollow - http://www.norskmetal.net/orkenkjott-onskediktet-review/
http://www.last.fm/music/%C3%98rkenkj%C3%B8tt" rel="nofollow - http://www.last.fm/music/%C3%98rkenkj%C3%B8tt By combining extreme metal with elements from jazz, acoustic music and
rockabilly, the upcoming band wants to explore new paths in the field of
experimental metal. if this is not vertifying their inclusion well then the inclusion policy is way to tight, if this is not merrits which shal in all cases be enough for inclusion in prog metal, this is the least qulification stats that is neaded, Critics have compared their music to bands such as http://www.last.fm/music/Opeth" rel="nofollow - Opeth and http://www.last.fm/music/Enslaved" rel="nofollow - Enslaved . Though the band members are still in their teens, they are experienced and daring musicians.
