OK first half over first match Greece v Poland.

Poland much better poor Greece so far.

Referee DIABOLICAL sending off for two non existant yellow cards !!! IDIOT

Hope he doesn't ref the second half let alone any more matches.  Anyone know who he is?

I hope this isn't going to be the standard of refereeing .  He must understand that even if he thinks its a foul he doesn't have to be a yellow card!  After a few fouls, or a serious foul or very deliberate foul maybe but these were soft probably non existant!

Caballo Spanish ref card happy idiot

They must be too good for the rest of Europe thus they were banned. An understandable yet upsetting event.

I agree, three times World Cup finalists, and three times lost it.
But they became European champion in 1988. Well, a long time ago.
They did play ugly in the final against Spain.
Until some four years ago, the Dutch used to play more like the Brazilians used to do years ago.
Two years ago they seemed to lose that.
The Germans were the new Brazilians, and they should have won, to be honest.
But hey, I'm Dutch, so I'll be supporter for Holland in all circumstances.

That's the spirit Agi!!!!! Go Denmark!! Man I really don't know what to expect regarding our team though... Could go either way. Talent we've got, but a way of utilizing it?? Yeah that is the issue.

Funny thing is that I have always been an admirer of the Dutch team. Back when Denmark won in 1992 my favourite player in the world was Ruud Gullit, and strike me dead if I didn't root for Holland... When Denmark won the penalty kick in the semifinale, I cried my eyes out and was truly mad at my own country. Still, I rooted for Denmark in the final and was happy as a June bug when we won

they might be able to beat Netherland and Germany, cused by nighbour rivalery and sly tachtics by Morten Olsen, and Portugal can have its up and downs, can ether be 8 - 0 in favour Portugal or 1 - 2 in denmarks favour

well Portugal ether runs over teams and scor buckles of goals or they meat the wall and just head butts into a solid defence while fast Danish forwards and some quick play between Romhedahl and Eriksen will make for fast counterattecs

Egil Drillo Olsen says often that, Denmark plays alot like his filosofy with fast counterattack and effective ballplay, (mostly to anoy he sacred danes pride for their football and mostly couse his right)

Rooting for Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, England and Ireland in this tournament (I like the Spanish team too, but they have won enough titles for a while), and I'm glad to see one of those teams starting the competition superbly. Congrats, Denmark!

My favourite to win the tournament are Germany, though. They had a good start, with a victory today, and I fear they will get better and better as the tournament progress.

From the perspective of a football fan, Spain should probably win. There is a joy and playfulness to their game, which I personally love. Italy can have it as well, but far too often what you get is highly defensive football with very little risktaking.. bah
So yeah Viva Espana!!!
