From the Last.fm page:

Quote The Amazing are often called a “super group from Sweden”, but the band members think this sounds too contrived; “The Amazing is a natural process, a force of nature”. Labels notwithstanding, The Amazing are a collective comprised of members who have played (or still play) for  http://www.last.fm/music/Dungen" rel="nofollow - Dungen , http://www.last.fm/music/Granada" rel="nofollow - Granada http://www.last.fm/music/Sagor+&+Swing" rel="nofollow - Sagor & Swing http://www.last.fm/music/Anna+J%C3%A4rvinen" rel="nofollow - Anna Järvinen http://www.last.fm/music/Life+on+Earth!" rel="nofollow - Life on Earth!  and http://www.last.fm/music/Dreamboy" rel="nofollow - Dreamboy Their self-titled debut album,  http://www.last.fm/music/The+Amazing/The+Amazing" rel="nofollow - The Amazing , is wide-ranging and spans everything from groovy electric folk rock, via psychedelic pop, to airy acoustic ballads. It was released in 2009, followed up by singles for the tracks http://www.last.fm/music/The+Amazing/Dragon" rel="nofollow - Dragon  and  http://www.last.fm/music/The+Amazing/Deportation+Day" rel="nofollow - Deportation Day . Their latest EP  http://www.last.fm/music/The+Amazing/Wait+For+A+Light+To+Come" rel="nofollow - Wait For A Light To Come  was released in 2010.

There's also an LP released in 2011 entitled "Gentle Stream", that should please space rock appreciators.

Well, I'm not quite sure about this one so I'll leave to Andy/Damo to have a listen as well.  My base reaction is that it's a bit too basic for us, but then we have Midlake which is not so different.  I guess they could have a shot in Cross or in Folk but I'm just not sure.  No chance in Psych despite the Dungen connection, this is too tame for that sub.

Here are some additional tracks for eval as well as a review for some background info.

Wow....I generally search before starting but must have missed it.

Sure would be nice if people would drop a note here, would have saved me some time.

Anyway, good to hear that they're in.

I agree with you Jim. A note would have been swell and saved you your time.
For what it's worth, I think you are a stand up guy helping out the suggestions team like this
