Hi All in Progland,

For some time now I have searched for a copy of Cirkus by The Swedish band Sinkadus. Can’t find it anywhere! Not even an overpriced second hand copy. Nothing.

I don’t usually condone copying music, but if anyone could suggest how to get a copy from a real CD, LP or Cassette Tape I would willingly send the band (Sinkadus) the full value of the album in Swedish Kronor. Or better still an actual copy of the real thing.

It is meant to be a pretty good album, so any advice or recommendations would be greatly apprechiated.

I just did a search from the usual places i buy music from and it looks like it's gone, as in out of print which surprises me. Glad i have a real copy as it is a classic. Good luck in your search.

What a coincidence!

I am in the process of ploughing through 1999 reviews and this album is on the list of best albums of the year!

Sinkadus Cirkus album cover

Found one decent track from earlier 1997 album

Smile Hi Plastic Dreamer,

This one is in my collection so I can sort you a copy if you can give the band some SEK (is it possible to contact them still - perhaps you could recommend they re-release it also  ?)

Regards,

Distant PlanetCool

LOL Sorry man but Sinkadus are one of my all-time favourites. I would have thought with you living in Sweden you'd have better luck.

Sadly the album was deleted by Cyclops. Which I guess means that it'll never be re-released because there's nothing to produce a re-release from.

I remember seeing it listed on the GFT website (the mail order side of Cyclops), saying that there were only a handful of copies left because it had been deleted from the catalogue. By the time I decided I liked the band and wanted a copy, they'd all gone Cry

I could kick myself for not buying both their albums straight off, I could've always sold them if I didn't like them, but no, I thought I'd just buy one and see whether I liked them before spending more Angry
