Well as long as Rush is in many minds here... First, a little history. I like the ol' retro LP. So the first Rush album I bought in the 00's (if you don't count Retrospectives) was Feedback. I think it's a fine piece of music, and I feel the same of Metallica's Garage Inc. and for that matter Gun and Roses' Spaghetti Incident and if you think about it didn't pretty much every band who ever played record some cover of someone or another who came before?. It wasn't that unusual back in the '60s (who doesn't enjoy The Who's version of Heat Wave?). Well, yeah. Anyway, there's a fine live version of Rush playing Crossroads on youtube if anyone's interested. One tends to forget they were, in the beginning, just another blues rock act. Who wudda thought, Rush playing 7+7 Is. Rare treats. What do you think? Personally, I wouldn't mind hearing a Yes version of Over Under Sideways Down. ------------- Can you tell me where we're headin'? Lincoln County Road or Armageddon. |

I quite enjoy listening to Feedback. I find it cool to hear my favorite band playing the songs that influenced them and adding their twist to them. -------------

Feedback is pretty good. I really dig their version of "The Seeker". It would have been cool to hear it back when Ged could screech.

Feedback is an excellent homage to those dear old songs that influenced Rush......The Seeker, 7 and 7 Is and Crossroads.....awesome versions.
I listen to it a lot. -------------

What actually defines an EP anymore? The last Big Big Train CD (Far Skies) the band considered to be an EP, and it was 41 minutes long. Back in the day, an EP was usually about a double single and certainly not longer than one side of an LP, but with CDs those definitions have all gone to .....
