i feal they sort of apeal to the same fans, both are esoteric and made beautifull music in the 80s full of expremitation yet where also able to be catchy and fun at times, also i doo believe they gravitated towards eachother in the 80s, did they collaborate at any time ?? yes they did  this is solo Gabriel, forgett anyhting about Genesis focus solaly on his solo work -------------

Yes, I think they collaborated at one point, Chris, but I'm not sure.

Speaking as a fan of both I like Kate's commercially successful songs more than Peter's.

I'm not really much a solo Gabriel fan, but I have huge admiration for Kate Bush. Alongside Sandy Denny in the Folk world, I think she is the other finest female musical artist that this country has ever produced : ------------- 'You are a divine being. You matter, you count. Don't get me wrong, I have huge respect for PG, it's just that a lot of his solo work just doesn't do that much for me personally. I do love Passion though. Amazing album. Also, his work in helping World Music is to be hugely admired.
