Schloss Tegal are a duo of Richard Schneider and Mark Burch. Schloss Tegal has been called the first dark ambient band, their first release coming in 1989. (they actually did beat Lustmord to the punch for true dark ambient, as everything Lustmord had put out in the 80's was more indus/noise, and Lustmords first true dark ambient album came in 1990.)
They are on the more droning, noise side of dark ambient, but that IS under the guidelines, and they DID technically make the first dark ambient album, so I think they have a rightful place here.

I know this one and will take it with me, but I am just letting you know that we're (myself and Philippe) taking a bit of break with the dark ambient suggestions for the moment, which also means your last couple of suggestions from that genre. Basically, putting them on the back burner for the time being.

I take that too mean I've probably bogged you guys down. I've got plenty suggestions for other teams though, so no worries.Tongue
