So I'm listening to "Heir Apparent" off of Watershed through some nice headphones. I hear a Facebook messgae sound. I switch over to my Facebook tab... nothing. I rewind the track. Lo and behold, there is a Facebook message sound at 8:01 on the track itself. LOL

I wonder if it's purely unintentional, or if they noticed it but left it in as a joke.

I hear it on the Youtube link too, so I know it's not just my copy. Just between 8:01 and 8:02.

I do hear it now, it's a lot more clear what sound you are referring to on the YouTube clip. Didn't realize that's the FB sound.

It may not actually be the FB message tone, but it sounds an awful lot like it to me. It had me convinced!

I hear some sort of noise, but I don't recognize it as the facebook message tone at all. It almost sounds like, to me, a burp or belch of some sort, almost like the infamous one captured on tape on Rush's The Camera Eye.

I misinterpret some music as Facebook message tone a lot.

Strangely enough, I hear the facebook message sound in the Porcupine Tree song "Gravity Eyelids" at the 2:11 mark. I suspect some sort of bizarre conspiracy. Geek

LOL

I've also heard the facebook message sound (or something like it) before the final chorus of "bravest face"  on Rush's "Snakes and Arrows" album. It's between the 3:48 and 3:49 mark. The plot thickens...

Anyone hear the sound at about 3:26 in Dream Theater's On the Backs of Angels?

I checked the Rush and Dream Theater ones mentioned, and I did hear them. I couldn't catch the Opeth one though Unhappy
