Both of them have completely different feels to them and bring up different emotions, so it depends on my mood as to which one is "better." Ultimately though, LYSFLATH I think wins it for me because of its sheer diversity and contrast. |

This exactly! I absolutely LOVE the opening monologue from Dead Flag Blues. But Skinny Fists just... really creates an amazing atmosphere. It's surreal! ------------- I consider drone metal to be progressive... |

I love both dearly, those albums being absolute Post-Rock milestones and some of my favourite albums of all time. Giving it to Lift Your Skinny Fists though - beautiful, brooding, enigmatic and ethereal. The Post-Rock bible.
