They are among my favourite technical-thrash metal bands, and I think that if Watchtower are here, they deserve a place too because the evolution from heavy metal to progressive metal passes also from here.

Toxik:

Thanks for the suggestions, both legitimate.

The term technical-thrash metal applies to both, the question is whether this extends to "progressive" metal (not synonymous terms).

The former are currently under evaluation but they look as though they are going to be rejected (more technical than "progressive"). If you ask me I would say they are more sophisticated than standard tech-thrash but not sure if prog enough (probably not) to be included here.

For the latter I have expressed my opinion that they should be here but they have been rejected by previous PM teams - that means we would have to wait for a new released to consider re-evaluating them.

Coroner is a very special case in thrash metal, they evolved towards something really unique with 'grin'...

Actually, you can include 'no more color' in the list of progressive Coroner albums.

I'm still waiting for both bands into progarchives. Toxik's second album is definitively prog. And Coroner's Grin too.
