Never heard of Archive before, but having just looked at their PA page I'm intruged by the Michel Vaillant soundtrack since I'm a big motorsport fan.

Since though they've blown Europe apart. They've kinda followed the Pink Floyd timeline of going Dance/Pop then film soundtrack etc etc. I'll never know why they didn't crack the UK, it could be the many changes of direction and singer that people on the Continent probably like. I read they weren't allowed to promote in the UK due to management reasons or something similar. I just know there are only a few acts who have brought a tear to my eye through sheer brilliance: Floyd on Dark Side of the Moon, A Trick of the Tail, some Ennio Morricone instrumentals and quite a few Archive tracks. No band can put you through the wringer like Archive can, especially with songs like 'Again,' 'Vilolently' and 'Collapse Collide.'
